Data controller

The controller is the owner identified in the legal notice. You can write to us about anything concerning your data at info@blackatlasmedia.com.

What data we process and why

• Contact form. Name, email and message, plus the optional fields you fill in (service, date, location and indicative budget) and the language and page you write from. We use them to answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in handling enquiries. If we enable the automatic reply, you will receive an acknowledgement email.
• Newsletter. Your email address and the language of the page where you subscribe, to send you studio news and productions. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email. If your address has already unsubscribed, we ask for explicit confirmation before subscribing it again.
• Audience measurement. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to public pages. It does not use cookies. Before each visit is sent we strip any parameters or fragments from the address and discard non-public pages. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding site usage in aggregate.
• Security and abuse prevention. To limit mass form submissions we use an invisible honeypot field, a fill-time check and a per-IP submission limit that is kept in memory for the length of the limiting window. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. The following providers process data on behalf of the controller and under contract:

• Resend, to send contact form emails, replies and the newsletter, and to manage the subscriber list.
• Vercel, to host the website and for the visit analytics described above.

International transfers

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, notably in the United States. In that case the transfer relies on the safeguards the GDPR provides for, such as standard contractual clauses or the provider’s participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. How long we keep data

Contact form messages are kept while your enquiry is handled or the business relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the legal periods in which liabilities may arise. Your newsletter email is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted. Security data held in memory disappears when the limiting window ends.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to info@blackatlasmedia.com with your name and the right you wish to exercise. You can withdraw your newsletter consent without affecting earlier mailings.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

Children

The website is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has written to us, tell us at info@blackatlasmedia.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when data processing or the rules change. The date of the latest review appears at the top of the page.
